How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?

While there is no "right" time to start your wedding dress shopping, we do recommend having ample time for your dress to arrive in store and alterations. Dresses typically take 6-8 months to get to us. We do have rush shipping for an extra fee if necessary. 

What is the price range for Illusion Bridal gowns?

Our store gowns range from $1,500 to $4,500. We pride in finding the dress for you no matter your price point, style, and size! Our informals, ready-to-wear, bridal minis range from $450 to $1,500. Let us know what you hope to spend during your pre-appointment call or when meeting with your stylist.

Do I need an appointment to try-on dresses?

Yes! We do require an appointment to try-on all dresses. This ensures there is a stylist and fitting room available for you. We strive to give you and your potential guests the full Illusion Bridal experience. To schedule an appointment, give us call or book through our website. 

How long is my bridal appointment?

Our bridal appointments are 1 hour long. If you would like to try-on more dresses we can book you a retry appointment. 

Is there a fee for bridal appointments? 

All of our appointments are completely free! Please note we do require a card on file for our cancellation policy for bridal appointments. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time or a $25 cancellation fee will be applied. This policy is designed to accommodate all brides looking to shop with us.

Do you offer alterations in-store?

We do alterations in-store. Our seamstress is available Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm by appointment only. Alteration pricing varies between the bride's needs, preferences, and other factors.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges. 

What are your payment options?

We require a deposit of 60% to place an order for any gown and accessories. The remaining balance, if any, will be due when your dress arrives. If you would like to make payments while waiting for your gown, we accept them over the phone and in-person.

What should I bring to my bridal appointment?

Bring your excitement and 5 (or less) of your loved ones to be here when you say YES to your dress! We don't require you to bring any heels or a bra, but your underwear is a requirement. Some brides found it helpful to bring shapewear, a claw clip, and inspiration photos.

What size dresses do you carry?

We carry dresses ranging from size 6-24. Although we do not specialize in plus size gowns, we can order up to a size 30 and use clips to ensure ALL brides are secure in our samples.

Do you have bridesmaids & mother's dresses?

We carry dresses for mother's and bridesmaids in our upstairs suite! To try these dresses on, an appointment is required to ensure we have a stylist available to assist.

Are kids allowed?

We ask that in the case children join, they are well behaved as there are other guests and bridal appointments happening at the same time.

We respectfully ask that only well behaved children that are accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the appointment attend. We want to ensure a great experience for every single bride during their appointment.
